1. He's cool. He wore cardigan sweaters before Kurt Cobain, making
him at least associated with and at best highly influential on the direction
of music in the early nineties.

2. He's honest. When your hamster dies he won't replace
it and assume you won't be able to tell.

3. He gets along with the neighbors we know about, and if nothing else,
aren't we all just the sum of our friends and loved ones? No, we're not.

4. He isn't bitter about having things named or done in his honor even
if he doesn't approve or know of said actions.

5. He's policy on tort refom is so groudbreaking it has become staple
reading material for law students of all disciplines.

6. He's old and not collecting welfare.

7. He can relate. He walks around, does stuff, sleeps, and that's what we all do.

8. He probably likes Seals and Crofts, and probably your favorite band too.

9. He co-invented polythelium hydroxide at the age of 74.

10. He smiles a lot and speaks slowly. Candidates need to do this
and he's shown that he can.

11. A main plank in his platform is being nice in general and wearing
footwear appropriate for the situation.
